The Family History Society of Cheshire This project was first discussed with the society ten years ago when Brenda Smith was Chairman. The difficulties then envisaged seemed more surmountable in 2010. The Society has given great support to Peter Davenport.

Peter Davenport, Co-ordinator of the Cheshire Family History Society's work in scanning material for the web. In the last two years Peter has played a major part in the development of the Arley Hall Archive website by scanning all the 10,000 documents shown there. He was greatly assisted in this work by his friend Christian Boyce.

Christian Boyce, independent consultant on all Apple Mac devices and on Filemaker Pro, based in Los Angeles, advised Peter on the use of Filemaker Pro for laying out the searchable database for the invoices.

Dianne Phillips advised on the database and helped with the preparation of the data for the website.

Strange Software Limited provided the knowledge and skills to transform all this material into the present website. For technical queries, please see here.
